IPL 2020 Auction : Biggest Cricket Auction Ever

The Indian Premier League 2020 will start early in April 2020. But the cricket lovers going crazy about it in mid december as the ipl 2020 auctions going to be held on december 19, 2019.

A total of 332 players have been shorted from 997 applied. The shorted list came out after all the franchises submitted their expected player list. Players are arranged in different budget segment. There are INR 2 Cr, 1.5 Cr, 1 Cr and 50 lakhs slabs.



INR 2 Crore Players : 

In this segment all players are over-seas players, no Indian players are there. There are players from Australia, South Africa & Sri Lanka. They are Pat Cummins (Aus), Dale Styne (SA), Angelo Mathews (SL), Josh Hazlewood, Glenn Maxwell, Mitchel Marsh & Chris Lynn (Aus). 

INR 1.5 Crore Players : 

Along with many over-sea players there are only one Indian player - Robin Utthapa who was with team Kolkata Knight Riders since 2013 and gifted the ipl trophy to the franchise in 2014. But considering his form in last ipl the franchise has drooed him this year for auction.

INR 1 Crore Players : 

On the next budget there is Pyush Chawla from India who also played for Kolkata last year and playing for the team since 2011. He had a big contribution in the team as he is the 4th player to take more than 150 wickets in ipl. KKR can use their RTM (Right To Match) ticket to bring him back to the team at a low cost. There is Yusuf Pathan who is known as Indian pinch hitter all rounder. He played for Sunrisers Hyderabad last year and likely getting new team this year. As he is not consistent the team has decided to drop him. There is Manish Pandey also who played for SRH last year and droped from the team.

INR 50lakhs Segment : 

Next budget segment is of Rs 50 lakh. Indian testman Cheteswar Pujara and Hanuma Vihari is there in the list. Pujara was unsold in ipl 2019 and vihari was in team Delhi Capitals. Other players like Indian Pacer Mohit Sharma, all-rounder Stuart Binny and Barinder Srann are there in this list. Countrt champions like Manoj Tiwary are there on the 50 Lakh budget also. 

Now lets have an eye at the auction on december 19 to see who get paid the hifhest and who remain unsold.
